Gemcal Kit may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Gemcal Kit is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Gemcal Kit should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Gemcal Kit may be needed. Please consult your doctor.No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate kidney disease. However, use of Gemcal Kit is not advised in severe kidney disease patients.
Gemcal Kit is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Gemcal Kit may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice for Risedronate
Take Risedronate in the morning on an empty stomach with water. Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after taking Risedronate. Maintain an upright posture for 30 minutes after taking Risedronate. Inform your doctor if you experience pain in jaw, throat, chest, abdomen, hips or thighs. Inform your doctor if you are about to undergo any major dental procedures, as Risedronate may need to be discontinued temporarily.
